It's 4:30am and I just fed Quinley and rocked her back to sleep. I cherish these little moments with her, knowing how long I've waited for them and knowing that my daughter, this sweet baby, was meant to come to my arms. It brings me to tears. I often have moments like these when I [...]

ANNOUNCEMENT, BABY!

Before you ask, no, I'm not pregnant - BUT . . . WE'RE ADOPTING!!!!! To say we are excited would be the understatement of the century. If you have read about our infertility journey, you know we've been praying and praying and praying for a baby for a while now. We always knew we would [...]

Doubt Not, Fear Not

April 17, 2017January 22, 2021by Hellonourishedlife21 Comments on Doubt Not, Fear Not

I have always wanted to be a mom. Always! I never knew what career path to take because all I knew was that I wanted to be a mom, so it was hard to think about what I wanted to do alongside or instead of that. Jason and I got married on a beautiful, warm, [...]

Hi, happy Sunday, I'm obsessed with them 😍
Sometimes I feel like we should be doing more or we should be busier. But I try to remind myself that someday I will miss these slow mornings. Someday we'll be rushing off to school and activities and they'll be begging to play with friends. Someday I'll miss being able to have a slow breakfast, stay in our jammies as long as we want, read books and play all morning. I don't know if we'll ever get these slow mornings back, so I'm trying to cherish them. 🀍

Holidays for me pretty much revolve around 2 things: family and food 😍❀️🍫 Happy Valentine's Day!
Valentine's date night for Mom and Dad πŸ’•
A little peak into a moment and space that brings me joy. Our kitchen is imperfect and we'd love to make a LOT of changes to it, but this little spot is filled with things that make me smile. Callum's little hands reaching for the homemade bread about to go in the oven. Sourdough starter from Callum's birth grandma, who is very special to our whole family. A cutting board from my mama. A soup bowl from Italy. Shelves made by my sweet MIL. Crio bru from this morning. Cows. Plants. Light. Bottles that we should probably kick but haven't because then they REALLY won't be babies, right? Just a happy Monday moment ☺️🀍
